HCI began in Aberdeen in 1992 and has developed a
reputation for excellent quality and integrity. Mr. Humphrey began his construction career in 1976 during college at Western
Washington University working as a summer employee for a local construction firm. After graduating with a BS degree in Environmental
Land Use Planning, Jim was hired full-time, bought into the company and eventually sold his interest in 1986 and moved “back
home” to the coast. Jim Humphrey Construction has a strong repeat client base that includes school districts, port facilities,
regional banks, commercial businesses and local homeowners. They have come to expect prompt, professional service from the

develop customized plans with our local engineering and design consultants; construction is all "in house", with our own crews
under our direction and quality control. We think Green, and use environmentally appropriate natural products. Our homes are
dried and interior framing and sheathing is tested with moisture meters before insulation is installed. Our best advertising
